Support Staff
Commercial Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced commercial paralegal. The candidate should have at least five years of commercial experience, be well-organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle commercial sales, purchases, and financing transactions from start to finish: obtain and review searches, prepare documents, correspond with clients, lawyers, paralegals, realtors, and bankers, be mindful of time-sensitive tasks, handle trust funds; prepare reports
- Have a good knowledge of corporate documents that pertain to commercial files
- Experience working with Land Titles, Spin2, Personal Property Registry (APPRES accreditation would be an asset)
- Handle Condo Loan transactions from start to finish
- Draft Commercial leases

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive information and circumstances tactfully
- Ability to work independently and without supervision and to take initiative
- Critical thinker with an ability to research and problem-solve
- Reliability and a strong attendance record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint)

Legal Assistant
We are looking for an experienced legal assistant with at least two years of experience. This is a full-time position.
The candidate will be working for the managing partner, which responsibilities will include:
- Condominium work: Bylaw revisions, disputes, opinions, preparation for meetings
- Possible assistance for collection files, corporate files, and real estate
- Administrative duties as assigned
- Assist in day-to-day practice management
- Correspond with clients
- Track deadlines
